Jodie was born in Gloucester and went to Chosen Hill Secondary School where she developed a passion for English Literature. Jodie moved to Sir Thomas Richard Grammar School for sixth form where she studied A Level English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics and Art.
During this time Jodie led the Christian Union and was an active member of St Andrews Churchdown yourhgroup, helping organise county wide youth events and was a member of the PCC.
Following sixth form Jodie went to Edmonton, Canada volunteering with the Salvation Army in a project supporting vulnerable women who were sexually exploited. This is where she developed a heart for mission and on her return undertook a TEFL course (teaching English as a foreign language) and became a assistant youth worker.
In 2016 Jodie undertook a degree in Biblical and Intercultural Studies at All Nations Christian College specialising in the Churches response to the US Mexico border controversy. Her academic interest is in cross cultural ministry. She enjoys preaching and has been a speaker at New Wine and other events around the country.
Recently she joined the Church Army as a Parish Evangelist here at St Margarets Church.
Jodie is engaged to Billy and has an older sister and younger brother.
