Midweek Communion
Join us for a reflective midweek Communion service at St Margaret’s Church chapel. This intimate gathering provides a space for personal reflection, prayer, and communion. It is open to everyone seeking stillness or a deeper connection with God. All are welcome to join in this peaceful experience.
Active And Wellbeing Group
A fun and interactive group for community health and wellbeing, encompassing physical activity and education for future independence. Aimed at older populations and those with health and mobility conditions. Cost is a £3 contribution which goes back into the group’s funding pot for future classes and equipment. Prayer Group
Thursday 9.30am – 10.00am Church/chapel Our prayer group meets in the Tufton Chapel every Thursday morning from 9.30 to 10am. Do come along if you’re free – you will be very welcome! The group includes friends from other local churches and we often focus on praying for Rainham. There is no pressure to pray out loud or spontaneously. 8am Holy Communion
The Sunday 8am Holy Communion service is a tranquil gathering in the main church that emphasizes reflection and prayer. Following traditional liturgy without music, it allows attendees to contemplate and connect with God’s message while participating in Holy Communion. All are invited to experience this serene and meaningful service.
Young People’s Group (16–20s)
If you’re post-GCSE age (16+) and into your twenties, we would love to invite you to our Young People’s Group. This is a space to meet others your age, build friendships, and feel part of the church community. It is a chance to connect, chat, and support one another in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The Way of the Cross
A time of reflection on the various stages in Christ’s journey to his crucifixion on the cross, through projected images. The service will last about an hour.

Holy Communion for Maundy Thursday, at 7pm
Good Friday
Church open from 12noon until 2pm for quiet reflection. Good Friday service at 2pm. One hour at the Cross, including Olivet to Calvary, with choir, no communion.
Men’s Breakfast Club
On alternate Saturdays from 9am, in St. Margaret’s Church, or The Millennium Centre. St Margaret’s Church, Men’s Breakfast Club is an informal gathering of men for breakfast and a chat. We are from all walks of life and all ages – church goers or not. We eat and talk, arrange outings (we went to the cricket recently) and generally be ourselves. Come and join us on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays on the month Every man is welcome.

Heritage Open morning
Heritage Open Morning – Saturday 11th April, 10am -12pm: The beautiful church of St Margaret’s holds over 800 years of history behind its medieval doors! We’ll be open all morning to showcase some of our heritage, with knowledgeable guides and hosts on hand to tell you all about the heritage in our town. Drop in and discover something amazing!
