Global Interfaith Commission on LGBT+ Lives

On March 22nd 2022 over 150 religious leaders from 30 countries and a range of faiths, along with academics and lay leaders, met at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to agree a set of Safeguarding Principles to protect LGBT+ people from harm. Following a recent PCC Meeting, we highly commend these Safeguarding Principles, recognising their application to the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Remembrance Sunday

This Sunday, 14th November, we will be gathering around the War Memorial at 10:30am for an act of remembrance. We will be joined by local organisations, dignitaries and the Kent Police Band As the service will be wholly held outside, the roads will be closed at 10:00am to enable a safe area for you to view the service. Opening Up

We have now reached the time when we are taking the next steps in ‘opening up’! New Service Pattern! We are moving to a new pattern of worship on Sunday mornings at 10.30am from Sunday 3rd October which is outlined below:   In the coming months Services of the Word will include musical accompaniment from a variety of individuals and groups as well as the Choir.
