Diocesan Synod backs vote of no confidence
Diocesan Synod, which met on Saturday 7 December, has backed a motion of ‘no confidence’ in the Archbishops’ Council’s oversight of safeguarding. Brought by the Rev Nathan Ward, the motion urged ‘the necessary reforms to be taken to restore trust, safeguard the vulnerable, and uphold the Church’s moral and legal responsibilities’. Service of Remembrance
Service starts at 10:30am in Church. Please be seated by 10:20am This Sunday, the A2 by the war memorial will be closed during Rainham’s annual Act of Remembrance. Please join us in church at 10.30am for the service or from 10.55am outside (when the road will close) for the Act of Remembrance and laying of wreaths.
