Rainham Eco Hub was founded by Liz and Kayleigh in March 2020. This came about after discussions in the community of Rainham, around the grass verges that was being left to grow and the encouraging comments about the positive effects this would have on our local wildlife, also the increase in PPE since the start of the pandemic and the amount that was left discarded in our town. The Hub was formed online, and started very quickly to build the community of like minded people that cared about the environment and wanted to actively make some changes, we saw many of you doing litter licks on your daily walks, children making big hotels and bird feeders.
